The aim of the course is to teach the basic principles of implementing and writing a research study related to health, applying the rules that a scientific paper follows. The organization of health studies, experimental designs, morbidity indicators, risk and diagnostic control measures, topic selection, literature review, research approach, methodology development, data collection and learning statistical analyses with applied examples, presentation and interpretation of results as well as the way to develop the discussion that leads to the conclusions of a scientific study are the main topics that are developed in detail in this course. Also, significant reference is made to understanding the stages for writing and completing a Master’s Thesis.
