The aim of the course is to present the immediate and long-term reactions and adaptations of the body during exercise which is applied to people with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. The necessary knowledge regarding the functions and adaptations of the body in people with chronic diseases concerns metabolism, endocrinology, the cardiovascular system, the immune system, bone metabolism and the neuromuscular system and provides the opportunity for students to design special protocols and implement specialized exercise programs in people with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
