Selection Procedure

The candidate selection procedure is as follows:

  1. The Secretariat of the Postgraduate Program (MSc) compiles a complete list of all applicants.
  2. The Admissions Committee:
  • Rejects candidates who do not meet the admission requirements.
  • Ranks the eligible candidates and publishes a provisional list of selected candidates, along with the timeframe for submitting appeals.
  • After reviewing the submitted appeals and based on the final evaluation score of each candidate, prepares the final ranked list of admitted students.
  1. The final list of successful candidates is approved by the Interinstitutional Program Committee, posted on the Program’s notice board, and published on the official website of the MSc Program.

In the event of a tie in total score, all candidates with equal scores will be admitted, provided that the total number of admitted students does not exceed 34. If the maximum number of admitted students has already been reached, priority will be given to the candidate with the highest undergraduate degree grade.

Additionally, one member per academic year from the following categories may be admitted as a supernumerary student, upon request: ETEP (Special Technical Laboratory Staff), EDIP (Special Teaching Staff), or EEP (Special Scientific Staff), in accordance with Article 34, paragraph 8 of Law 4485/2017.

Successful candidates, after being notified by the Secretariat, must confirm their acceptance in writing within three (3) days. Failure to respond within the given timeframe is considered a refusal of admission. In such cases, the Secretariat will contact the next candidate on the ranking list.
