If the postgraduate student chooses to undertake a Master’s Thesis during the third (3rd) semester of studies, the topic must fall within the scope of the MSc program and make use of the knowledge acquired during the coursework of the program.
The Master’s Thesis must demonstrate identifiable elements of originality and contribution to scientific knowledge.
The thesis may be written in Greek or English.
For the writing of the thesis, postgraduate students are required to follow the Guidelines for the Preparation of Master’s Theses, as outlined in the official MSc Thesis Manual.
Strict adherence to these guidelines is mandatory, as the thesis is reviewed by the supervising professor and serves as a basic requirement for final grading and approval by the Examination Committee on the day of the final presentation.
