The purpose of the course is to present the specificities of the wet environment, and the options available for the implementation of a specialized exercise program (pool depth, use of equipment). The wet environment is an ideal environment for therapeutic exercise, combining the therapeutic properties of water with the execution of a targeted exercise program. The necessary knowledge regarding the limitations that exist during the exercise of individuals with musculoskeletal and neurological diseases as well as injured individuals who are in the acute phase of the injury (cruciate rupture, muscle strain, sprained ankle) provides the opportunity for students to design special exercise protocols in water, with the appropriate use of specialized equipment.
